Alan and Gail have been married since March 12, 1994.  They have three amazing children, Maegan, Graham and wife Shelby; grandsons Dalton and Dace and their youngest daughter Lillian. 

Alan joined the staff of First Baptist in October of 2004 after serving as Associate Pastor at Temple Baptist in Amarillo for eight and a half years.  Alan has been in ministry for the past 36 years, earning a Bachelor's Degree, a Master's of Christian Ministry and a Master's in Counseling all from Wayland Baptist University. He is currently working toward a DMin. at Baylor's Truett Theological Seminary.  Alan is available as a Pastoral Counselor to those in need.

     Alan's passion in ministry is teaching and leading others to realize that we serve a Perfect Father in a flawed world.  Encouraging others to live out their faith in the midst of the real world.

Kim enjoys her ministry here at First Baptist.  She and her family feel greatly blessed to be a part of this community and loving church family. 

 Kim joined the staff here at First Baptist in September 1999.  She has a Business Diploma from Arkansas Valley College. 

 Kim has lived in White Deer since 1990.  She has two children, Audie who is 33, with wife Paige, their 4 children Scarlett, Karter, Audie Jo, and Navy, and also Rachel who is 29.

Jimmie is pursuing a Master's degree as a student at WTAM and has a calling to work with students and disciple them to live for the Glory of God... Sunday School for all youth is at 9:30 on Sunday mornings.  Wednesday youth starts at 6:00 for all youth 6-8 grade with an all youth meal served at 6:45pm and high school (9-12) meeting at 7:00pm.

Throughout the year our students participate in various retreats and mission projects as well as Youth camp during the summer at Panfork Baptist Encampment.

Tamie loves ministering to our children.  She teaches our children's Sunday school, Children's Church, and Worship Kidstyle.

Children are precious!  We here at "The Family @ First" take great care and joy in caring for your child.  The Nursery is located in the hallway just behind the Sanctuary and is available for all children birth through 3 years.  We look forward to watching after your "little ones" as you participate in Sunday School and Worship.  If you have any questions, feel free to call the church office and we will be glad to assist you in any way possible.
